In this process, the continuous furnace plays an important role!


    Continuous furnaces are particularly suitable for tempering large quantities of solar, building, and home appliance glass with similar specifications. Due to its long furnace body, the glass in the tempering furnace can be heated from room temperature to the tempering temperature in a single movement, and the scratches that are easily caused by the glass in the swing heating furnace are easy to avoid; Due to continuous production, the tempering furnace fan does not need to be repeatedly started and stopped like a swing heating furnace. As a result, the production cost of tempering the same quantity is relatively reduced. Therefore, the continuous furnace has both quality and cost advantages when tempering large quantities of glass.


    However, due to the widespread use of various low-e glass, screen printed glass, and coated ultra white glass in the above industries in recent years, traditional continuous furnaces heated by radiation can no longer meet the needs of fast and uniform heating of glass. The defects caused by the imbalance of glass heating in the early stage have led to a decline in the quality of tempered glass products.


    After fully understanding the challenges faced by customers, Randy Machine R&D personnel applied mature forced convection furnace technology to traditional radial continuous furnaces; In this way, during the glass heating process, due to changes in heating methods, forced convection heating not only effectively improves the heating rate, but also achieves uniform heating of LOW-E glass and other coated glass, thereby avoiding product defects caused by traditional radiation continuous furnace heating imbalance and ensuring product quality.


    The production and operation at the Randy experimental factory verified the initial design concept, and the forced convection continuous tempering furnace was also introduced to the market in mid-2009 and quickly recognized by the market! In 2009, several well-known domestic enterprises successively purchased and developed forced convection continuous furnaces, and one of them continuously purchased two sets of this type of equipment within 6 months; Now, more forced convection continuous furnaces are being manufactured in a tense and orderly manner by steelmaking furnace manufacturers!
