Product Description
GX-GK&GX-GG Double Chambers (Forced Convection) Flat Glass Tempering Furnace is engineered for factories that need high output and flexible scheduling on one line. With glass thickness typically from 3–19 mm and loading sizes up to 3000 × 6000 mm, it helps you cover façade, appliance and automotive orders in a single system.
Two independent chambers and dual quench sections can lift capacity by around 60% compared with a similar single-chamber layout, while still keeping excellent flatness, light wind marks and clean imaging on clear and Low-E glass.
· Designed for flat glass thickness typically from 3–19 mm (model-dependent).
· Supports clear, tinted, printed, Low-E (single, double, triple silver) and laminated glass.
· Tempered glass quality designed to meet standards such as GB9963, GB9656, ECE R43 and ANSI Z97.1 when properly processed.
· Excellent flatness and glass imaging, with very light wind spots and low optical distortion.
·High repeatability thanks to PLC recipes, closed-loop temperature and pressure control.
·Optional customization of chamber size, loading direction, power configuration and automation level.
This double-chamber line fits you if you are:
· Glass processing factories producing architectural façades, curtain walls, partitions and interior glazing.
· Appliance and furniture glass suppliers making oven doors, refrigerator shelves, table tops and decorative panels.
· Automotive, rail and marine glass processors handling sidelites, backlites and vehicle interior safety glass.
· Industrial equipment manufacturers requiring safety glass for machines, protective barriers or instrument panels.
· Technical trading companies and integrators who need a reliable, multi-purpose tempering line for regional customers.
Dual-chamber flexibility
·Two independent chambers can run different thickness ranges or glass types at the same time.
· Ideal when you handle mixed orders for architecture, appliances and automotive glass in one plant.
· Helps you reach up to about 1.6–1.8× productivity compared with a comparable single-chamber line.
Advanced forced convection heating
·Top and bottom convection deliver uniform, non-contact heating across the full loading area.
· Great flatness, reduced roller wave and very light wind marks, supporting demanding façade and automotive applications.
· Stable quality on clear, tinted and coated glass, including single, double and triple silver Low-E glass.
High-efficiency quench system
·Each chamber has its own high-pressure quench section with optimized nozzle layout.
· Precise control of cooling rate and air distribution to secure surface compression and center tension for safety glass.
· Capable of thin glass tempering (down to 3–4 mm, model-dependent) while maintaining low breakage.

Technical Parameters
Notes: Productivity is calculated based on 80%loading rate of 5mm clear glass in radiation furnace.
Loading & transfer section
·Roller conveyor with frequency-controlled drives for smooth, accurate positioning.
· Adjustable loading height for integration with existing cutting and washing lines.
First and second heating chambers
· Horizontal roller hearth with ceramic-coated rollers to minimize roller print.
· Independent convection fans and heating zones per chamber for precise temperature profiles.
· Separate recipes per chamber allow you to swap quickly between 4 mm Low-E and 10 mm clear glass, for example.
Double quench sections
· Dedicated quench after each chamber, with high-pressure air supply, plenum chambers and adjustable nozzle gaps.
· Upper and lower air flows are individually adjustable, helping you fine-tune optical quality and stress profile.
Cooling & unloading section
· Controlled slow-cooling zone to stabilize tempered stress and reduce spontaneous breakage.
· Ergonomic unloading table; can be connected to inspection, storage or IGU lines.
Electrical & control cabinets
· Modular cabinets with branded components, good ventilation and easy maintenance access.
· Remote assistance ready (VPN/remote diagnostics) if required by your plant IT policy.
Glass sheets are loaded on horizontal rollers and moved into the selected heating chamber. Forced convection heaters blow hot air onto the glass surfaces while the rollers keep the glass moving for uniform, non-contact heating. Once the glass reaches the set tempering temperature, it is quickly transferred into the quench section, where high-pressure and evenly distributed air jets cool the surfaces rapidly, locking in surface compression and creating safety glass. The glass then passes through a controlled cooling zone before unloading.
Luoyang GangXin Glass Technology Co.,Ltd has focused on glass tempering equipment since 2007 and now serves customers in more than 50 countries. Our 22,000 m² plant, including 12,000 m² of workshops and over 60 technical staff, allows us to design and build non-standard lines around your drawings and local codes.
For buyers who run multiple product types every day, this furnace reduces changeover time, stabilizes quality on Low-E coatings and cuts energy waste through optimized convection and insulation. Electrical components from global brands and carefully controlled suppliers keep the drive and control system steady even under 24-hour production.

Q1: Can the furnace handle LowE and multisilver coatings without film damage?
Yes. The forced convection system and precise temperature control allow stable processing of single, double and triple silver LowE glass.
Q2: How do you help us control glass strength and meet safety standards?
We work with you on trial runs to tune heating curves, quench pressure and cooling rates. Test results are checked against standards such as GB9963, GB9656, ECE R43 and ANSI Z97.1.
Q3: What about customization for our local power supply and plant layout?
Both OEM and ODM configurations are available. We can adapt chamber size, loading direction, voltage/frequency, HMI language and automation level to match your cutting, washing and IGU lines.
